"The old Frameknitters cottage in Lower Bond Street was a busy place
when our early Wightman ancestors walked the streets of the locality. As
the hosiery trade declined, it was the last operating establishment. Now
under the care of the Hinckley and District Museum, it features
prominently a display of Wightman homes, our Coat-of-Arms, and other
items of interest. The Coat-of-Arms has been re-created by Jan Wightman,
who with her brother Tom, have a jewelry business in the area."
